the tall kid
It was my friend Joseph's birthday last week so I made him a few things.
Found an old workbook in the attic and a stripy paperclip:
Vintage team pennants are my favorite. I sewed this out of felt.
And I drew some bookplates, too.
Happy birthday to the chillest boy I know!

sunshine, come and help me see
I've been homebound for the past few days, like everybody else. I finished a papercut and I'm packing it up for shipping:
Along with some ruffle banners from Pink Teacup:
And I painted some notecards, too. I'm loving gold paint right now; I want to gild everything!
Hoping for sunny weather. I feel so blessed to be dry and well-fed, and my heart goes out to the rest of Manila.

not dead yet
Blogger hasn't been cooperating with me, and our internet connection is horrid, and our laptop with Photoshop broke down, hence the unplanned blogging hiatus.
I think I broke my speed box-painting record, emulsion smells weird, butterflies are pretty, and Marie Antoinette-themed parties are things to look forward to.
I'll be back soon!
Keep hope alive.
Keep hope alive.
